On Jan. 14, Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories entered a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the state’s Economic Development Department, the Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department, and the Environment Department to build a zero-carbon hydrogen economy in New Mexico and nationwide. The MOU leverages Lab expertise to reach net zero emissions by 2050 while reducing greenhouse gas emissions in New Mexico at least 45% below 2005 levels by 2030. Read more.
